1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Balance ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the laws of your country.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@balanceapp.in if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes.
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service.
• Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
• Upload content you don't have the right to upload.

5. Your content

You own the data you put into Balance. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. No financial advice

Balance is a personal finance tracking tool. Categories, summaries, and insights are informational only — not financial, tax, investment, or legal advice.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep Balance running, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

8. Termination

You can delete your account any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Balance is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes are notified in advance via email or in-app.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
