A free expense tracker for the UAE, in dirhams
Life in the UAE comes with its own money rhythm: rent paid in a few large cheques, DEWA and Etisalat or du bills, and for many people, money sent home every month. Balance keeps all of it in one view, in dirhams.
It's free with no ads and never asks for a bank login.
Free · No ads · 140+ currencies · Android (iOS coming soon)
Built around how the UAE pays
- Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay purchases logged by scanning the receipt
- Bank transfers and remittances logged from the confirmation screenshot
- DEWA, telecom and Salik top-ups tracked as recurring bills
- Cash spends added in two taps
Spread your rent cheques across the year
Annual rent is often paid in one to four cheques, which makes some months look terrible and others look great. Divide your yearly rent by 12 and treat that as a monthly fixed cost, setting the money aside each month so the next cheque is already covered.
If you send money home, track remittances as their own category. Seeing what's left after rent and remittances is the most honest picture of your spending money.
Your currency, set up for you
Balance sets your home currency from your phone's region the first time you open it, so in the UAE amounts appear in UAE dirhams (AED) with the right formatting. If you move or prefer another currency, you can switch to any of 140+ in settings.
What you get, free
