Personal Finance

A personal finance tracker that fits in your pocket

Personal finance doesn't have to mean spreadsheets and jargon. A good tracker answers three simple questions: what did I spend, where did it go, and how much is left?

Balance answers all three in one place — expenses, multiple accounts, budgets, recurring subscriptions and analytics — without ever touching your bank login.

Free · No ads · Made in India · Android (iOS coming soon)

Everything in one honest view

  • Expenses and income across every account you hold
  • Budgets and fixed monthly expenses
  • Subscription radar that flags recurring debits
  • Analytics that show trends over days, months and all time
  • Salary planning so you can allocate before you spend

Simple enough to actually stick with

The reason most personal finance tools fail isn't features — it's friction. If logging an expense takes effort, you stop. Balance keeps capture to a scan or a couple of taps, which is what turns tracking into a habit.

Roast Mode adds a gentle (or savage) nudge when you overspend a category, so the app talks back instead of quietly filling up with data you never look at.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a budgeting app or an expense tracker?

Both. Balance tracks your expenses and also lets you set budgets and plan around your salary, so you can look backward at where money went and forward at what's left.

Does Balance connect to my bank?

No. Balance never asks for a bank login, net-banking credentials, or SMS access. You add transactions yourself — by scanning a receipt or UPI screenshot, or entering them manually — so nothing sensitive is exposed.

Is Balance really free?

Yes. Balance is free to use with no ads and no mandatory subscription. Core expense tracking, categories, analytics, receipt scanning and CSV export are all included at no cost.
